Andrea Ubilla

Andrea Ubilla has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Andrea started their career at A&B Recursos Organizacionales in 2014 as a Co-Founder. Andrea then worked at Prometeo Soluciones as a Psychologist, IT Recruiter, and Sourcer from December 2014 to June 2016.

From August 2015 to June 2018, Andrea worked at Uruit as a People Care Champion & Agile Facilitator. Their responsibilities included planning and executing People Care activities, conducting talent management experiments, and promoting internal communication and agile values.

In June 2018, Andrea took on the role of Product Owner at Uruit, where they were responsible for a mobile app redesign project. Andrea collaborated with the team to prioritize features, consult the client, and ensure the project's efficiency.

In July 2019, Andrea became a People Care & Selection Champion at Uruit, and in January 2020, they transitioned into the role of VP of Innovation & Culture. As VP, they lead Uruit's People Care and Selection teams, collaborates with other strategic teams, supports business strategy development, and successfully managed the transition to remote work during the COVID-19 crisis.

Andrea Ubilla's education history includes a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from Universidad ORT Uruguay, which they obtained from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they completed a Specialization in Talent Management from the same university from 2015 to 2018. Andrea holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Universidad de la República, acquired from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, Andrea obtained certifications including "Liderazgo en la innovación" from MIT Professional Education in May 2022, a "Fundamentals Online Workshop" from Management 3.0 in June 2021, "Diseño UX|UI" from Escuela CARNE in December 2020, "Construyendo Habilidades de Liderazgo y PNL" from Instituto de PNL del Uruguay in August 2020, a "Membership Certificate" from The Interaction Design Foundation in August 2020, "Certified Agile Leadership 1" from Scrum Alliance in October 2019, and "Certified Scrum Product Owner" from Scrum Alliance in August 2017. Andrea also obtained multiple specializations in cognitive behavioral therapy and logotherapy from various institutions in Uruguay.
