Mitesh Patel

Dr. Mitesh Patel is an emergency physician and most recently served as the Regional Vice President of the West region. Previously, he was the chief operations officer (COO) of VEP Healthcare. He has several decades of experience in diverse healthcare operations management, teaching, and clinical experience. His areas of expertise include physician relations, process improvement, and staff development. He is a certified physician executive and a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American College of Emergency Physicians.

Dr. Patel earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California Berkeley. He earned his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences, Chicago Medical School, and completed his emergency medicine residency at Case Western Reserve University. He earned an MBA in Health Care Management from the University of Phoenix.
