Chris Overbay has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Chris started their career at Convergys as a Client Service Manager from March 1998 to February 2004.

From 2004 to 2014, Chris worked at ILD Telecommunications, Inc. as a Senior Account Manager. During their tenure, they successfully built and managed a book of business with over 450 clients, resulting in significant sales growth and the strategic adoption of ILD service offerings.

Chris joined Microsoft in 2014 and held several roles within the company. Initially, they served as a Business Sales Specialist, where they established strong relationships with internal Microsoft teams and drove sales and product adoption. Chris then became a Sales Excellence Specialist, responsible for ensuring sales excellence in the Southeast and South Central regions. Chris later became a Market Performance Specialist, leading the development and execution of sales strategies for the South Atlantic Commercial Microsoft Retail Organization. Finally, they served as a Business Solutions Specialist, evangelizing and promoting cloud and device solutions to clients in the North Florida and Southern Georgia area.

In 2021, Chris took on the role of Senior Customer Success Account Manager - Education at Microsoft. In this position, they assisted and led K-12 and higher education customers in their digital transformation using Microsoft products and services, with a focus on creating enhanced learning experiences.

Currently, Chris is working as a Technical Account Manager at US CLOUD, where they serve as the primary point of contact for a diverse book of business. Their responsibilities include acting as a customer advocate in the tech space, ensuring clients' goals are met, facilitating smooth adoption experiences of Microsoft technologies, and building a collaborative and trusted client environment.

Chris Overbay holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, and Marketing from the University of North Florida. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Azure fundamentals AZ-900 from Microsoft in June 2022. In July 2019, they acquired certifications in various courses such as "Figuring Out Your Next Move," "Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself," "Making Great Sales Presentations," "Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform," "Office 365 New Features," "Public Speaking Foundations," and "Working with Upset Customers" from LinkedIn.
