Valerie Ciri PHR, SHRM-SCP

Valerie Ciri PHR, SHRM-SCP has over 30 years of experience in Human Resources. Valerie began their career in 1986 as a Supervisor Dealer Services for American Funds. In 1990, they moved to Bank of America where they held positions as Benefits Manager, Payroll Manager, and Senior Recruiting Officer. From 1996 to 2007, Valerie worked for Food Management Corporation as Human Resources Director. During their tenure, they re-designed the Employee Benefits Plan, developed an Employee Handbook and Worker's Compensation Program. From 2007 to 2016, Valerie worked for Dollar Tree Stores as Regional Human Resources Manager, where they were responsible for 409 stores in 9 Western States and provided hands-on HR Generalist duties. From 2016 to 2018, Valerie worked as a Human Resources Business Partner for Prestige Care, Inc., where they were responsible for 40 Skilled Nursing Facilities in 5 states. During their time there, they rolled out an EAP Training Program and was the primary contact for Union Investigations and Grievance processes. Most recently, Valerie worked as Human Resources Manager for US Digital, where they managed the HR Department for 110 employees and provided hands-on HR Support. Valerie also served as the COVID Safety Officer, developing a program to ensure compliance with Federal and State Guidelines.

Valerie Ciri obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Family Economics and Management/Finance from Oregon State University between 1981 and 1986. Valerie also holds certifications from SHRM as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) obtained in February 2021, a PHR certification obtained in 2006, and a NASD Series 6 certification obtained in 1989.
