Kelly O'Neal possesses extensive experience in environmental risk assessment and toxicology, currently serving as a Risk Assessor at the US Environmental Protection Agency since March 2020. Prior positions include roles as an Ecological Risk Assessor/Environmental Toxicologist at CH2M, and a Field Survey Specialist at Battelle, where Kelly conducted environmental sampling in the Chukchi Sea. Experience also includes serving as a Health Assessor for the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, performing human health risk assessments, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, contributing to research on chemical exposure and bioavailability. Kelly holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Toxicology from North Carolina State University and a BS in Biology from Purdue University.
