Shawn Wood

Shawn Wood currently serves as an Embodied Carbon Advisor for Building Materials at the US Environmental Protection Agency since February 2023. Prior to this role, Shawn Wood was a Construction Waste Specialist for the City of Portland from November 2003 to February 2023. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Planner/GIS Specialist at Group Mackenzie from 2001 to 2003 and as a Transportation Planner at Metro Regional Government from January 1996 to June 1999. Shawn Wood earned a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Planning from Virginia Tech between 1989 and 1993.
