Shawn Lance

Shawn Lance has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several industries. Shawn started their career in the US Army, where they served as a Company Commander, Executive Officer, and Platoon Leader. After leaving the army, they joined Mervyns as a Group Leader, handling shipping and flow operations. Following this, they worked at Target as a Regional Transportation Manager. Lance then joined Lowe's Companies, Inc. and held various roles, including 3PL & Flatbed Transportation Manager, Regional Transportation Manager, Inbound Transportation Manager, and Carrier Relations Manager. Shawn later joined SAFE Warning System, LLC as the Director of Sales and Marketing. Lance then worked at JB Hunt Transport Services, Inc., where they held positions such as Intermodal Pricing Manager, National Sales Manager, and National Account Executive. After their time at JB Hunt, they served as the Director of Motor Carrier Sales at Florida East Coast Railway. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President, Strategic Accounts at U.S. Xpress, Inc. prior to which they served as the National Account Sales Vice President. Shawn Lance attended Wentworth Military Academy and College from 1988 to 1990, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Business/Managerial Economics. Following that, they enrolled at Evangel University from 1990 to 1992 and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Political Science and Government.

In addition to their formal education, Shawn Lance has obtained certifications in High-Impact Sales Strategy in a Digital World from Kellogg Executive Education in May 2021. Shawn also completed Airborne School through the US Army, although the specific dates of this certification are not provided.
