Sandra McMakin

Sandra McMakin is an accomplished Curling Instructor and Coach with extensive experience in the sport, currently serving at Spectrum Curling since February 2021 and at USA Curling since 1984. Sandra provides coaching for individuals and teams across various levels, including men’s, women’s, and junior categories, and has played a pivotal role in developing programs and performance evaluations. As a Senior Tax Specialist at H&R Block and a Special Procedures Technologist at Fairview Health Services, Sandra combines technical expertise in cardiology with a commitment to coaching and mentoring in curling. Their leadership roles, including chairing the USA Curling Instruction program since 2011 and directing arena curling initiatives, reflect a dedication to advancing the sport at both local and national levels.
