Josh Susong

Josh Susong is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in editorial leadership. Currently serving as a senior editor for enterprise and storytelling at USA TODAY since March 2022, Josh leads national correspondents across the U.S. Previously, from March 2006 to March 2022, Josh was the news director for investigations and enterprise at The Arizona Republic, where leadership encompassed the full news operation and the establishment of the newsroom’s first dedicated storytelling team. Earlier career roles include assistant city editor, features desk chief, and reporter at the San Jose Mercury News, as well as a copy and rewrite editor at the Los Angeles Times. Josh holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Southern California.
