Michele Raphael

Michele Raphael serves as the Development and Communications Director at Beyond Baroque Literary Arts Foundation, leading innovative donor relations and fundraising campaigns. In addition, Michele is an adjunct professor at Loyola Marymount University, teaching public relations strategies, and a contributing writer for USA TODAY. As CEO and founder of Maximizing Media, Michele develops branding and marketing campaigns for diverse clients. Previous roles include managing editor for AAA publications, director of communications for Danielle Allen's gubernatorial campaign, and editorial director of Angels Flight • literary west. Michele holds an MA in Journalism from the USC Annenberg School, an MBA coursework from Drucker School of Management, and a BA with highest honors from Pitzer College.
