Jack Murray

Head Mechanic Team USA at USA Triathlon

Jack Murray has a diverse work experience. Jack started their career as a Life Guard at Corpus Christi Beach Patrol from 1995 to 2000. Jack then worked as a Cook/Customer Service at Whataburger from 1992 to 1993. In 2001, they joined USA Triathlon as the Head Mechanic Team USA, responsible for mechanics assignment at Triathlon World Championship events. In 2002, Jack became the Owner of High Five Events, which they still own. Jack also owned Jack & Adam's Bicycles from 2003 to 2015, until it was sold to Texas Endurance Sports. In 2015, they started their ownership of Event Dog and the Ascension Seton Austin Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5K. In 2018, they became the Board Chair of Austin Sports Commission. Recently, in 2020, Jack joined Flywheel Capital Management as an Investor.

Jack Murray attended Sinton High School from 1990 to 1994, where they completed a 4-year program. Following this, from 1995 to 1999, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Health & Kinesiology at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
