Pete McLaughlin

Peter (“Pete”) McLaughlin serves as Executive Managing Director for USAA Real Estate, overseeing the Asset Management, Property Operations and Treasury functions while sharing responsibility for COO functions with Bruce Petersen. He is a member of the firm's Investment and Executive Committees.

Prior to joining USAA Real Estate in 2006, Pete worked for the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, where he managed a portion of the corporate bond portfolio. Prior to this role, Pete worked at BlackRock, having held positions in portfolio analytics, business development and portfolio management for the firm's fixed income division.

Pete received his Bachelor of Science from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, with concentrations in finance and economics.
