Meredith Bratton

Program Associate, National Aging And Disability Transportation Center (nadtc) at USAging

Meredith Bratton is currently a Program Associate at USAging, contributing to the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center by providing technical assistance and resources for accessible community transportation. With experience managing HRSA Communities RISE Together grants, Meredith has served as a liaison for local Area Agencies on Aging and national partners, ensuring effective communication and grant compliance. Previously, Meredith held roles focused on fundraising and outreach during political campaigns, including Call Time Manager for Cindy Axne for Congress, where over $1M was raised. Experience also includes volunteer recruitment and mobilization as a Field Organizer for the Indiana Democratic Party and administrative support roles at Georgetown University and the Maryland Senate. Meredith holds a degree in Government and History from Georgetown University, complemented by a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies.

USAging

USAging is the national association representing and supporting the network of Area Agencies on Aging and advocating for the Title VI Native American Aging Programs. Our members help older adults and people with disabilities throughout the United States live with optimal health, well-being, independence and dignity in their homes and communities and support their caregivers. USAging and our members work to improve the quality of life and health of older adults and people with disabilities, including supporting people with chronic illness, people living with dementia, family caregivers and others who want to age well at home and in the community. Together, we are ensuring that all people can age well. Our members are the local leaders that develop, coordinate and deliver a wide range of home and community-based services to support people to age well, including information and referral/assistance, case management, home-delivered and congregate meals, in-home services, caregiver supports, transportation, evidence-based health and wellness programs, long-term care ombudsman programs and more. USAging is dedicated to supporting the success of our members through advancing public policy, sparking innovation, strengthening the capacity of its members, raising their visibility and working to drive excellence in the fields of aging and home and community-based services.
