Jai Kelkar

Jai Kelkar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in chemical engineering and operations management. Currently serving as Regional Manager at USALCO since October 2021, Jai oversees operations in Texas, managing multi-site P&L for aluminum and iron-based water treatment chemicals. Prior roles include Plant Manager, Operations Manager at The Chemours Company, where leadership in a high-hazard plant focused on site reliability and production capacity improvements, and Project Manager at Nalco Champion, managing capital projects. With a foundational background as a Production Supervisor and Applications Research Engineer at DuPont, along with early career experience at IBM, Jai holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor's degree from The Johns Hopkins University.
