Brandon Machado

Brandon Machado has worked as an Information Security Analyst at USAN, Inc. since December 2018. In this role, they have been responsible for overseeing and administering special projects related to information security. This includes testing, implementing, and continuously monitoring enterprise security solutions. Brandon also works with the DevOps team to build secure infrastructure and servers on AWS with Azure DevOps. Brandon has automated workflow processes with Ansible Roles to streamline security tasks and vulnerability scans.

Before joining USAN, Inc., Brandon worked as an Information Security Analyst at MBAF from March 2014 to December 2018. During their time there, they spearheaded the implementation of various security systems and tools, including LogRhythm SIEM, Cloud AI UBA, and McAfee Endpoint Threat Defense and Response. Brandon developed security policies and procedures aligned with the organization's goals, and regularly assessed the environment for threats and vulnerabilities. Additionally, Brandon conducted annual risk management and analysis processes.

Brandon Machado obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Computer Information Systems from Miami Dade College, spanning from 2011 to 2013. Brandon then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management Information Systems, General from Florida International University between 2013 and 2015. Following this, they completed a Master's degree in Management Information Systems with a concentration in Information Security Management at Nova Southeastern University, which took place from 2016 to 2017. Apart from their formal education, Brandon also holds various certifications, including the Sumo Logic Certified Security Analytics and Sumo Logic Fundamentals Certified from Sumo Logic, obtained in March 2020, and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², obtained in June 2022.
