Tom Schneberger

Tom Schneberger has a long and varied work experience. Tom began their career in 1993 as a Process Engineer at Rhodia (formerly Rhone-Poulenc). Tom then held various roles at the company, including Operations Manager and Process Safety Engineer, before moving to SCM in 2001 as VP of Business Development. In 2003, they joined General Chemical Corp. as Business Manager for Reheis Pharmaceutical & Food Ingredients, and later as Director of Operations. From 2007 to 2019, they worked at FMC Corporation, where they held multiple roles, including Global Business Director for FMC Lithium and FMC Alkali Chemicals, Global Sustainability Director for FMC Lithium, and Marketing Manager for FMC Alkali Chemicals and FMC Peroxygens. In 2019, they joined Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia as a Board of Directors member. In 2021, they became an Advisor for Piersica and President of Ecovyst, Inc., as well as President of Catalyst Technologies for PQ Corporation. In 2022, they will become the Chief Executive Officer of USA Rare Earth, LLC.

Tom Schneberger attended Lehigh University from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a BSChE in Chemical Engineering. Tom then attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from 2000 to 2002, where they earned an MBA. In 2019, they attended the MIT Sloan School of Management to study Machine Learning: Implementation in Business.
