Christina Shinkle

Christina loves working with people and designing work ecosystems. Her approach to HR has been formed by green commerce and entrepreneurialism. As URI's HR Generalist, Christina seeks to Continuously improve employee engagement and build a high-performance culture. Her work includes: designing benefits offerings; running staff surveys, administering the retirement plan; managing the HRIS and payroll; assisting with talent acquisition and employer branding strategies; keeping URI in compliance coaching managers and staff on request, forming policy; and implementing the HR structures necessary for a multi-state workforce. The HR function at URI keeps her very busy and the URI staf are a delight to work with Christina earmed a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano Performance from the University of Miami, and a Master of Divinity with a Post-Master's Cetificate in Transforming Spirituality from Seattle University. She is SHRM-SCP certified.
