About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Business Development to spearhead our efforts in generating a robust sales pipeline. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth by developing and executing strategies that will generate $10,000,000 in qualified pipeline over the next 15 months. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading successful business development teams, a deep understanding of cold outreach, Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns, and regional market strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Generation: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive business development strategy to generate $10,000,000 in qualified pipeline over 15 months.
  • Team Leadership: Build, manage and mentor a team of business development professionals, ensuring they meet individual and team KPIs and sales goals.
  • Cold Outreach: Design and implement effective cold outreach campaigns that target high-value prospects across multiple regions.
  • Collaboration with Marketing: Partner closely with the marketing team to leverage ABM campaigns, content, and other marketing initiatives to support business development efforts.
  • Regional Focus: Develop and execute region-specific strategies that align with Userpilot’s growth objectives in key markets.
  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape, informing strategic decisions.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of business development initiatives, providing regular updates to the executive team and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and maximize the impact of business development efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience leading business development teams or in business development roles in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.

  • Track Record: Demonstrated success in generating substantial sales pipelines and driving revenue growth through cold outreach and ABM campaigns.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team to achieve high performance.

  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute on plans that align with overall business goals.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with experience in using data to drive decision-making and optimize business development strategies.
