Sara Khawaja

Sara Khawaja is a highly skilled professional in the field of chemistry, currently serving as a Principal Technologist at USG since April 2024. Prior to this role, Sara worked as a Chemist III at CTLGroup for one year, and as a Testing Technician specializing in Combustible Dusts at Fauske & Associates for over three years. Earlier experience includes a position as a Laboratory Analyst at Jacobs and an undergraduate researcher in the Cabana Group at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Sara began a career in healthcare as a Certified Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens and gained technical experience as a Water Plant Intern with the Village of Wilmette. Sara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Chicago and an Associate of Science degree from Moraine Valley Community College.
