Heather Hoover-Salomon

Hoover-Salomon, uShip’s longest-tenured employee, has served as executive vice president of operations since 2017. As COO, she continues to oversee human resources, recruiting, facilities, customer operations, member support, legal, trust and safety, and uShip’s on-site kitchen operation, which serves lunch to over 200 employees daily. A two-time Austin Business Journal Profiles in Power finalist, Hoover-Salomon began her uShip career in 2005 as a PR and customer service intern.

Over the course of 2019, uShip has added executive leadership bench strength, including Vice President of Marketing & Sales Janet Vito, Director of Strategic Programs Lyndy Watkins, Senior Director of SEO Alan Garcia, Director of Strategic Partnerships Jon Weisblatt, and Director of Employee Experience Marina Carter.

Since 2004, uShip has accumulated over 6.1 million consumer and business shippers who have listed 9.1 million large and bulky shipments for transport. Each month the company digitally obtains over 2,000 companies who use the marketplace to move their business freight. uShip currently has more than 41,000 active service providers in its network.
