Svea Joaquino, MPH has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2014, they started as a Class Facilitator for Health Coaching at the University of California, Berkeley, where they facilitated classes until 2016. In 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Cognitive Behavior Therapy & Science Center until 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they served as an Executive Assistant at MedAmerica.

In 2016, Svea Joaquino also worked as a Biostatistics Research Intern at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health for a brief period. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Vituity. During this time, they gained experience in analyzing business systems.

In 2018, Svea Joaquino joined YWCA Berkeley/Oakland as a Financial Committee Member and served until 2019. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as a Public Health Director at Mabuhay Health Center.

In 2019, Svea Joaquino became a Research Intern at Stanford University School of Medicine, specifically the California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative, and worked until 2020. From 2020 to 2022, they held the position of Business Systems Analyst at Stanford Health Care.

Currently, Svea Joaquino is working at Ushur as an Associate Product Manager, starting in early 2022. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in research, project management, business analysis, and public health.

Svea Joaquino completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Cognitive Science, Integrative Biology at the University of California, Berkeley in the years 2012 to 2016. Svea further pursued their education at the same institution, completing their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from 2018 to 2020.
