Thomas Janisko is a highly experienced healthcare professional currently serving as Command Surgeon and Chief Health Officer at the US Army Corps of Engineers, responsible for overseeing health and wellness programs for a large agency. Janisko has played a pivotal role in crisis response, including the establishment of over 30,000 COVID-19 beds as a liaison to the White House COVID-19 Task Force. With extensive expertise in operational medicine, Janisko has provided expert consultations in Antarctica and Greenland and improved healthcare systems for deployed forces in Afghanistan. Additionally, Janisko holds multiple roles within the US Federal Government and has extensive experience in emergency management and behavioral health.
