Dan Elsworth

Dan Elsworth has a diverse work experience in the field of product management. Dan started their career as a Teacher at EF Education First and worked their way up to the position of Product Manager and Senior Product Manager. During their time at EF Education First, they conducted large-scale research projects and developed new language education products.

Dan then transitioned to the role of Director of Studies, where they managed a teaching team and implemented process and product changes across multiple locations. Dan also provided continuous professional development programs for teachers.

After this, Dan worked as a Lead Product Manager at EqualEd Ltd., where they helped create a virtual science lab for secondary schools. Dan established a clear product vision and secured buy-in from leadership and delivery teams.

Dan then joined the British Council as a Project Director and E-Assessment Product Owner, responsible for the digital product development and operations of British Council Tests worldwide. Dan successfully led a program to develop a new e-assessment platform.

Following this, Dan worked as a Product Director at Janison, an education software company. Dan worked with the founder and product teams to develop propositions and adapt products for European and Asian markets. Dan also created strategic frameworks for product investment decisions and partnership arrangements.

Most recently, Dan served as the Head of Product at ustwo, a digital product studio. Dan supported a team of product managers and worked with industry-leading businesses to develop new products and optimize their digital business.

Dan Elsworth attended King's College London from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Bsc (hons) degree in Mathematics with the Philosophy of Mathematics. In addition to their degree, Dan has also earned several certifications. In 2007, they obtained a Certificate in English Language Teaching for Adults (CELTA) from Cambridge English Language Assessment. In 2013, they obtained a Diploma in Teaching English as a Second or Other Language from Trinity College London. Most recently, in 2017, they obtained a Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from the Scrum Alliance.
