David Knowles

David Knowles is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as the Human Resources Director at UT Health East Texas since June 2020, David is responsible for HR operations at Athens and Jacksonville facilities. David's earlier career includes significant contributions as Manager of Human Resources at Children's Medical Center - Plano, where key initiatives included designing recruitment tools and supporting HR activities. Additionally, David managed recruitment strategies at Children's Medical Center - Dallas and held a managerial position at EDS, overseeing a telecommunications team. David holds a BBA in Management from Angelo State University, completed between 1976 and 1980.
