Paymon Bagheri

Paymon Bagheri has extensive work experience in healthcare administration. In their current role as the Senior Director of Finance & Administration at UT Health San Antonio's Mays Cancer Center, Bagheri is responsible for overseeing a $120 million budget, managing various aspects of the cancer center service line, and leading a team in areas such as finance, revenue cycle, faculty affairs, research program planning, and marketing. Prior to this, Bagheri served as the Administrative Director for Medical/Surgical Specialties & Diagnostic Services at the University of California, San Francisco for seven years.

Paymon Bagheri has a Master's Degree in Health Services Administration, which they obtained from The George Washington University from 2005 to 2008. They also hold a Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh, earned between 2000 and 2004. Additionally, Bagheri has obtained several certifications throughout their career, including Fellow of American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE) and Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) in 2022. They also hold certifications such as Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS), Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Safety Manager (CSM), Certified Environmental Compliance Manager (CECM), Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM), Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB), and Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE).
