Bryce Hesterman

Principal Research Engineer at Utah State University

Bryce Hesterman has extensive work experience in engineering, primarily focused on power conversion technologies for various applications. Bryce started their career as a Senior Technology Development Engineer at MagneTek, Inc. in 1993 and worked there until 2000. From 2000 to 2008, they were a Member of Technical Staff I at Advanced Energy Industries, where they developed power conversion technologies for plasma and solar inverter applications. Bryce also provided customer support and served as a Product Engineer for specific product lines. In 2009, they joined Colorado Power Electronics as a Sr. Staff Engineer, where they designed advanced power converters and was responsible for managing two NASA SBIR projects. Bryce also served as an Account Manager for L-3 Communications ETI. In 2013, Bryce joined Aerojet Rocketdyne as a Principal Engineer, Avionics. Their responsibilities included avionics engineering. Bryce is currently working at Utah State University as a Principal Research Engineer.

Bryce Hesterman completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Brigham Young University from 1976 to 1987. Bryce then pursued a Master's degree in Power Electronics from the same university from 1988 to 1993.
