Tim Hawk

Tim Hawk has an extensive work experience in the casino and hotel industry. Tim most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at Ute Mountain Casino Hotel since June 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Director of Finance at Cahuilla Casino Hotel from November 2020 to June 2023. Tim also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Chicken Ranch Bingo & Casino from January 2018 to January 2020. Throughout their career, they have held various finance-related positions at several other establishments, including Cliff Castle Casino Hotel, Casino Del Sol Resort, Golden Acorn Casino & Travel Center, Apache Gold Casino & Resort, Northern Edge Navajo Casino, Downstream Casino Resort, and L'Auberge de Sedona, Amara Hotel, Orchards Inn.

Tim Hawk has a solid educational background in the field of finance and accounting. Tim obtained their MBA degree with a specialization in Finance from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, where they studied from 1986 to 1989. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate education at Northern Arizona University from 1976 to 1980, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

In addition to their formal education, Tim has pursued various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Tim obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential from the Arizona State Board of Accountancy in October 1983. Tim also holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation from the American Institute of CPA's, which they obtained in August 2012.

Tim has recently focused on expanding their expertise in the field of data analytics. Tim has earned several certificates related to data analysis, including the Data Analysis Fundamentals Certificate, Data Visualization Certificate, Application of Data Analysis Essentials Certificate, Data Analytics Modeling Certificate, and the Data Analytics Executive Program. These certifications were obtained between November 2019 and March 2020 from the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants.
