Gene Ruddy

CEO at Utility Management Services, Inc.

Gene Ruddy has a diverse and extensive work experience. Gene started as a Global Product Manager at Bellows Products, where they were responsible for the design and manufacture of edge welded bellows and seal products. Gene then moved on to Everson Electric Company, where they served as President and CEO. During their time there, they established manufacturing facilities in Mexico, initiated a B2B Product Group, and directed various departments such as sales, marketing, IT, and finance.

From Everson Electric Company, Ruddy transitioned to John Crane, Inc., taking on the role of Vice President of Operations. In this position, they re-aligned the company's operations, outsourced raw materials and components, and increased capacity by 50% by transforming the company from a vertically integrated manufacturer to a final assembly and test facility.

Ruddy then became Vice President & General Manager at AXT Inc, where they led the design and manufacture of CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers. Gene implemented a new business software system, restructured operations, and doubled sales in less than six months.

Following their time at AXT Inc, Ruddy joined New Business Development as Corporate Vice President. Gene focused on the design and manufacture of semiconductor compound substrates and led the startup of an LED division, which quickly grew into a leading competitor with significant annual revenues.

Ruddy then held the position of President at Fadal Machining Centers, before moving on to SL Power Electronics, Corp as President. At SL Power Electronics, Corp, they designed and manufactured power supplies for various industries, increased organic growth, and completed a significant acquisition, merging the company with another power supply competitor.

After their tenure at SL Power Electronics, Corp, Ruddy became General Manager at Kavlico Aerospace, where they oversaw the design and manufacture of precision position sensors for aerospace and power generation applications. Gene achieved organic growth, completed organizational changes, and participated in M&A activities.

Their most recent position was as Chief Executive Officer at ASPIRE AEROSPACE, LLC. Following that, they became the CEO of Utility Management Services, Inc.

Gene Ruddy completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Air Transportation Management/Aeronautical Studies from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in 1984. Gene then pursued further education at the same institution and obtained their Master of Business Administration degree in Business & Finance in 1987.
