April Smith

April Smith currently serves as a Supervisor at Workforce Development Institute since September 2023, focusing on comprehensive support and development, while also participating in the Cannabis Workforce Initiative as a Fellow to enhance the cannabis industry. April is also a Consultant at Aroom Consultants since August 2023. Previously, April held the role of Compliance Specialist at Community Care Home Health Services from February 2023 to September 2023, and was the Head of Human Resources at New York state's first recreational dispensary from September 2021 to October 2022. April has extensive experience at Epilepsy-Pralid, Inc., working as both a Quality Improvement Specialist and Care Manager from June 2017 to October 2022. Earlier career experience includes a position as a Patient Care Technician at the University of Rochester Medical Center from May 2001 to August 2015. April holds an Associate's degree in Human Services from Monroe Community College, earned between 2011 and 2015.
