Elie Matta

Elie Matta has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Elie is currently working as the VP of Engineering at Utility Warehouse since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Engineering at INFOGRID from August 2020 to April 2022. Elie also worked as a Hands-on CTO at Portefini from August 2019 to August 2020.

In their earlier years, Elie held multiple roles at Murex from June 2013 to July 2019, including Technical Lead in SWE and AI from January 2016 to July 2019, and Full Stack Software Engineer from June 2013 to December 2015. Elie also worked as a Part Time Instructor at Antonine University from February 2013 to July 2019.

Elie has experience as a Co-founder and Hands-on CTO at Augmental Education from January 2016 to June 2019. Elie was a Founding Member and Director of Technology at SelfStir Limited from September 2011 to June 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Technical Consultant at SNS from September 2011 to January 2012.

Elie's early career was marked by internships at EQUADIS SA as a Salesforce CRM Developer Intern from March 2011 to July 2011, and at Ethos KMS Group as a Web Developer Intern from March 2010 to August 2010.

Elie Matta holds a Master's degree (Highest distinction) in Databases and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Burgundy, which was obtained from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Engineering - MEng degree in Computer Science and Telecommunication from Antonine University, completing it from 2006 to 2010. In addition, Elie has obtained various certifications, including a Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa from the UK Home Office in 2019, an Executive Data Science Specialization from Coursera in 2019, and several other certifications related to data science and artificial intelligence from institutions such as edX and Coursera. Elie also holds a Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance in 2011 and achieved a TOEIC certification from ETS in February 2011.
