Eshaan Khanapuri

Eshaan Khanapuri, PhD, is a Research and Development Scientist at UtopiaCompression Corporation since September 2022, specializing in machine learning, control, and state estimation algorithms for autonomous ground and aerial vehicles. Prior to this role, Eshaan served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Cincinnati from August 2017 to September 2022, focusing on enhancing the operation of autonomous vehicle platoons and cooperative drones through advanced algorithms. Eshaan's earlier experience includes research work at the Indian Institute of Science and internships at National Aerospace Laboratories, where skills in computer vision, mission planning, autopilot controller design, and unmanned aerial vehicle data validation were developed. Eshaan holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
