Erna van Wilsem

Erna van Wilsem has extensive experience in academic and research environments, currently serving as an Education & Research policy officer at UMC Utrecht divisie LAB since June 2016 and as a University Council member at Utrecht University since September 2017. Since January 2000, Erna has coordinated the PhD-programme "Infection & Immunity" and managed the Eijkman Graduate School within UMC Utrecht. Previous roles include staff member at Utrecht University Faculty of Medicine from February 1996 to March 2000, a junior staff member at The Netherlands Organisation for Health Research and Development from April 1995 to February 1996, and OIO at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from 1990 to 1994. Erna holds a Master’s degree in Medical Biology from Utrecht University (1984-1989) and a PhD in Immunology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (1990-1994).
