Sergio Martinez

Sergio Martinez is an experienced higher education administrator with a diverse background in student engagement, housing, and facility management. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Student Union and previously as the Director of Housing and Residence Life at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley since May 2015, Sergio has demonstrated expertise in operational planning, event management, and regulatory compliance. Prior roles include leadership positions at The University of Texas - Pan American and the University of Texas at Brownsville, where responsibilities encompassed managing budgets, supervising student media, and developing student programs to enhance campus life and promote civic engagement. Sergio holds an M.B.A. in Marketing and a B.B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Brownsville.
