Zak Liebenberg

Zak Liebenberg has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Zak started their professional journey as a Renewable Engineering Intern at Trust Solar Pty Ltd in 2019 and later worked as a System Design Engineer for the same company in 2021. Concurrently, they were a Junior Unity Developer at Sozo Labs from November 2021 to April 2023. Zak also held the role of Electrical Engineering Lead at Team Mahali Solar Decathlon Africa 2019 from June 2018 to October 2019. Currently, Zak is the Lead AR/VR Software Engineer at the University of the Western Cape as of May 2023. Prior to their professional career, they were an Engineering Student at the University of Cape Town from March 2017 to November 2021.

Zak Liebenberg completed their Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Cape Town from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they attended Oakdale Agricultural High School in South Africa between 2012 and 2016. In addition to their formal education, Zak has obtained various certifications including "Design Solar PV Systems" from Udemy, "Adaptive Project Leadership" and "Cert Prep: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)" from the Project Management Institute, "Git Essential Training: The Basics" from LinkedIn, "Remote Work Foundations," "Running a Profitable Business: Understanding Financial Ratios," "Running a Profitable Business: Revenue Recognition," and "Business Math" from NASBA, and "Google Developer Student Clubs UCT" from Google Developers.
