Professor Of Applied Nuclear Science at The University of the West Indies

Charles Grant is a distinguished academic and research leader currently serving as a Professor of Applied Nuclear Science and Senior Research Scientist at the University of the West Indies since January 2007. In addition to these roles, Charles holds the position of National Coordinator for the Regional Co-operation Agreement for the Promotion of Nuclear Science and Technology in Latin America and the Caribbean (ARCAL) and is a member of the ARCAL Technical Coordination Board. Since August 2014, Charles has also been the Director General at the International Centre for Environmental and Nuclear Sciences, overseeing the institution's scientific and financial affairs with a team of 31, including 18 scientific staff members. Charles Grant obtained education from the University of Surrey between 1986 and 1992.
