Mieke Dewez

Mieke Dewez has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Mieke began their career at America Today in 2012, working as a Sales Associate for two years. In 2015, they joined H&M in a similar role.

In 2017, Mieke took up the role of a Hostess at Flair Eventcatering & Hostesses, where they worked until 2020. During this time, they also participated in the Triptiek Fashionshow organized by the Amsterdam Fashion Institute in 2017.

In 2018, Mieke interned as a Graphic Designer at UXUS, and later re-joined the company in 2022 as a Junior Creative Strategist. Prior to UXUS, they worked as a Sales Assistant at de Bijenkorf for two years from 2019 to 2021.

Before embarking on their professional career, Mieke was an active member of the Event Committee at Mencia de Mendoza from 2008 to 2015.

From 2015 to 2020, they attended the Amsterdam Fashion Institute and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Branding.

In 2020 to 2021, they enrolled in NCOI Opleidingen and pursued a degree in HBO Interieurarchitectuur- en Ontwerp (Interior Architecture).

Prior to that, they attended Mencia de Mendoza from 2009 to 2015, where they completed TTO atheneum (VWO) and focused on Cultural & Societal studies (C&M).

In terms of additional certifications, they obtained an HBO Interieurarchitectuur & -Ontwerp (Grade 8,5) from NCOI Opleidingen in October 2021.

Mieke also earned an International Fashion & Branding Propedeuse from Amsterdam Fashion Institute in November 2016.
