Paul Clement serves as a Professor and Chair of the Department of Oncology at K.U. Leuven since October 2006. In addition, Paul Clement has held the position of Head of Clinic and Medical Oncologist in the Department of General Medical Oncology at UZ Leuven since January 2018. Paul Clement was a group member of the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) from 2005 to 2011 and completed a Visiting Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) from May 2000 to August 2002. Paul Clement earned a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from KU Leuven (2000-2005) and an MD in Medicine from the same institution (1988-1995), having also completed education at HHC Tervuren from 1982 to 1988.
