Filip Lardon is a distinguished academic and researcher at the University of Antwerp, serving as Vice-rector (Associate Vice Chancellor) and Full Professor. Lardon has led the Center for Oncological Research (CORE) and has extensive experience in pre- and postdoctoral research in hematology. Additionally, involvement in translational cancer research at Universitair Ziekenhuis Antwerpen has been a key focus. Lardon holds a PhD in Medical Sciences and multiple degrees from the University of Antwerp and Hasselt University, including MSc in Biology-Physiology and a BSc in Biology.
