Anna Sorokina-Hailey

Anna Sorokina-Hailey has over 20 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement. Anna is currently working as the Director of Strategic Sourcing at Vacasa since October 2023. Prior to this, Anna worked as a Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Consultant, helping companies create or revamp their sourcing/procurement functions and providing advice on navigating corporate sourcing departments.

Anna has a strong background in strategic sourcing within the media industry. Anna worked at The Walt Disney Company for over a decade, holding various roles including Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing, Production, and Production Technology, Manager of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement in Media Networks, Senior Sourcing Specialist in Strategic Sourcing & Procurement in Media Networks, and Sourcing Specialist in Strategic Sourcing & Procurement in New Media & Technology. During their time at Disney, Anna saved millions of dollars in cost savings, established partnerships, and implemented streamlined processes.

Before joining Disney, Anna also worked at Parsons as a Senior Buyer in IS Procurement, where they transitioned the procurement group from tactical to strategic focus and identified cost-saving opportunities. Anna also held positions at Digital Insight (an Intuit Company) and Spark Networks, where they implemented and managed procurement processes and vendor relationships.

Anna started their career as an Administrative/Research Associate at Russell Reynolds Associates and later worked as an Intern in the Field Department at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), where they drafted position papers and was published in the ACLU monthly publication.

Anna Sorokina-Hailey earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and Psychology from the University of San Francisco from 1995 to 1999. Anna later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a Global Management Specialization at UCLA Anderson School of Management from 2015 to 2018. Anna also obtained various certifications, including A+ Certified Service Technician from CompTIA, Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) from the Institute for Supply Management, Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from ITIL Certified, and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) from Microsoft.
