Jamshad Khan

Jamshad Khan has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jamshad currently holds the position of Head of CMC Project Management at Vaccitech, where they started in January 2022 after previously serving as a Senior CMC Project Manager from December 2020 to January 2022. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Senior CMC Project Manager at F-star Biotechnology Ltd. Jamshad has also worked at Lonza Biologics, where they held the positions of Senior Program Manager/Group Leader from 2015 to 2019 and Interim Project Manager from 2014 to 2015. Jamshad started their career as a Science Teacher at Denefield School in 2013 and subsequently worked as a Trainee Teacher at The Willink School in 2012. Jamshad also worked as an SKE Student at the University of Reading in 2012. Prior to their teaching roles, they served as a Program Manager at Amgen from 2010 to 2012 and a Programme Manager at Shire Pharmaceuticals from 2006 to 2010. Jamshad started their career in the biotechnology industry at Cobra Biomanufacturing plc as a Business Development Manager from 2004 to 2006. Finally, at Lonza Biologics, they worked as a Contracts Manager from 2000 to 2003 and as an Assay Development Scientist from 1998 to 2000.

Jamshad Khan completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Sciences at the University of Wolverhampton from 1987 to 1990. Jamshad then pursued their academic interests further and obtained a PhD in Protein Biochemistry from the University of Bath, where they studied between 1990 and 1994. Later, they expanded their skillset by earning a Diploma in Business Management from the University of Reading, which they completed from 2000 to 2003.
