Heidi Holopainen

Heidi Holopainen is the current Head of Human Resources at the Football Association of Finland (SPL). Prior to this, they worked as an HRD Manager at the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) from October 2015 to April 2018. In this role, they were responsible for strategic HR planning, recruitment, talent management, competence development, wellbeing, leadership development and working culture development. Heidi also worked as an HR Specialist at Tike from April 2014 to December 2014, where they were responsible for good personnel policy compliance, HR support and measures during change projects, HR and change planning and implementation, and other HR and administration tasks in support of management. Prior to that, they worked as an HR Account Manager at State Treasury from May 2011 to October 2015.

Heidi Holopainen has a Master's in Management from Aalto University, a Johtamisen erikoisammattitutkinto (JET) from Markkinointi-instituutti, and a Bachelor's in Management, Economics, and Marketing from the University of Oulu. Heidi also has a HR Executive Program from Aalto University Executive Education Ltd.
