Roman Pridybailo

Roman Pridybailo has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps and IT management. Roman is currently the Head of DevOps at VAIX, where they lead the strategy for building a scalable and automated DevOps environment. Their responsibilities include designing tools for infrastructure management, developing extensive test coverage, and performing continuous deployment in a growing software engineering environment.

Prior to their current role, Roman worked at K&C (Krusche & Company) as a Remote Consultant from October 2020 to May 2021. Before that, they served as the Head of DevOps from July 2017 to October 2020 and as a DevOps Engineer from July 2014 to July 2017. During their tenure at K&C, they gained expertise in various aspects of DevOps and played a key role in implementing and managing DevOps strategies.

Before joining K&C, Roman worked at Lucky.Net, where they held multiple roles starting with L2 Support Engineer from June 2009 to June 2011. From June 2011 to August 2013, they served as an Information System Engineer, responsible for deploying and upgrading Xen, Xen Cloud Platform, KVM, OpenVZ, as well as installing and tuning web servers such as Apache and Nginx. In their final role at Lucky.Net, Roman was the Head of Information System and First Line Support Department's from August 2013 to July 2014, managing two departments and overseeing the deployment and setup of various IT systems.

Overall, Roman Pridybailo has a strong background in DevOps, infrastructure management, and IT support, gained through their roles at VAIX, K&C (Krusche & Company), and Lucky.Net.

Roman Pridybailo obtained their Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from the University of Information Communication Technologies. Roman attended the university from 2006 to 2012. Prior to that, Roman completed their high school education at Gymnasium №136 in Kiev from 1996 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Roman Pridybailo has also obtained certification as a Certified Kubernetes Administrator from the CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation) in October 2019.
