HR Project Manager at Valcon

Michelle Groenendijk has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Michelle began their career as an Employee at LINQ in 2010, where they worked until 2013. During this time, they gained valuable experience in a professional setting. In 2013, Michelle took on a full-time board position as the Human Resource Manager of the 36th STAR Board at RSM STAR, the Study Association of the Rotterdam School of Management. In this role, they managed human resources and contributed to the association's success.

In 2014, Michelle joined Stichting Intern Auditoren Fonds STAR as a Member SIAF. This position allowed their to develop their skills further. From 2015 to 2016, they worked at Accenture the Netherlands as a Graduate Intern and an Innovation Researcher. Here, they participated in the Accenture Innovation Awards and focused on the "Internet of Me" theme, researching innovative Dutch products, services, and concepts.

Michelle's next position was as a Student Assistant at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University from 2015 to 2015. In this role, they supported professors in the Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship Department and assisted with research activities.

Afterward, Michelle transitioned to Valcon (prev. First Consulting), where they have held various roles since 2017. Michelle started as a Junior Business Consultant from 2017 to 2019 before being promoted to Senior Business Consultant starting in 2020. Currently, they serve as the HR/Talent Manager, a position they assumed in February 2021.

Throughout their career, Michelle has demonstrated their ability to adapt to different environments and take on responsibilities in various capacities.

Michelle Groenendijk's education history is as follows:

From 2003 to 2009, Michelle attended Emmauscollege where they completed their Atheneum degree.

In 2009, Michelle enrolled at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Administration, which they completed in 2013.

During their undergraduate studies, in 2012, Michelle also had a study period at Università Bocconi, where they acquired a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics.

Continuing their education, Michelle joined the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University again in 2014 for a Master of Science (MSc) program in Business Information Management, which they finished in 2016.
