Rachit Gupta

Rachit Gupta has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Rachit started their career in 2009 as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Monnet Ispat & Energy Ltd. Raigarh, where they gained critical skills in commissioning power plants and analyzing data.

In 2010, Rachit joined Capgemini as a Software Engineer at Barclays Bank, where they contributed to the design and development of a large data warehouse and data marts. Rachit then moved on to become a Data Warehouse Consultant at HSBC Bank, leading a small team and successfully delivering projects for Middle East sites.

In 2013, Rachit joined Cognizant and took on the role of Content Analyst and Technical Lead at Tele2. Rachit worked directly with stakeholders from different countries, pitching Tele2 EDW and Data mining solutions. Rachit also led a team, playing a crucial role in requirement gathering, analysis, design, implementation, and migration activities. Later, they became a Big Data Developer and Data Analyst at Telia Sverige, leading the team in all aspects of the project and gaining hands-on experience with modern distributed data processing technologies.

Rachit's next move was to Valcon in 2016, where they assumed various roles. As a Data Integration Specialist at Blokker, they worked on IBM InfoSphere configuration and setup, as well as IBM IIS-MDM integration. Rachit then became a Data Quality Expert at PON, showcasing their expertise in data quality functions and the creation of data rules. Rachit later served as a Senior DevOps Engineer at ING Bank, focusing on data modelling and ETL solution design and implementation.

From 2020 to 2022, Rachit worked at UWV as a Cloud Platform Engineer and ETL instructor, creating e-learning platforms and designing and implementing Valcon's e-learning portal on Azure. Subsequently, they held the position of Solution Architect - ETL at Belastingdienst, designing and implementing ETL solutions and creating ETL jobs and CDC subscriptions.

Rachit's most recent roles include Project Lead & Cloud Data Architect at Landelijk Coördinatiecentrum Patiënten Spreiding, where they made architectural decisions, performed data modelling, and handled data engineering tasks. Rachit also served as a Cloud Platform Architect at Remeha (BDR Thermea Group), contributing to the Azure cloud adoption framework and designing networking and security solutions. Currently, Rachit is Project Lead & Cloud Data Architect at DLL Group, involved in project lead activities and coaching.

Rachit Gupta received a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E) from the Global Institute of Technology, Jaipur, with a focus on Electronics Instrumentation & Control. Rachit also obtained a certification in Embedded Systems from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. Additionally, they have obtained several additional certifications in various fields including generative AI fundamentals, data cloud deployment framework, sales accreditation, data engineering, data wrangling, and Azure development and data fundamentals from organizations such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft, Alteryx, and Scrum.org. Rachit has demonstrated a commitment to continuous learning and professional development through these certifications.
