Andrew Cheng

Deep Learning Researcher at Valence Discovery

Andrew Cheng has a diverse work experience in the field of artificial intelligence and deep learning. Andrew is currently working as a Graduate Student at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute since September 2021. Starting from May 2022, they have also taken the role of Deep Learning Researcher at Valence Discovery. Prior to this, Andrew worked as a Research Intern at McGill University from May 2019 to September 2021 and also from December 2019 to December 2019. Andrew also served as a Research Scientist at McGill University from May 2018 to February 2019.

Andrew Cheng obtained a BSc. Joint Honours degree in Statistics and Computer Science, with a minor in Physics, from McGill University. Andrew then pursued a Master's degree in Mathematics and Statistics, also from McGill University. Prior to their university education, Andrew attended Vancouver College. In addition to their academic achievements, Andrew has obtained the RCM Grade 10 Piano (Honours) certification from The Royal Conservatory of Music in February 2014.
