Mathew Ha

Mathew Ha is an experienced analyst with a strong background in research and communications, currently serving as an Analyst I at Valens Global since August 2021. Previous roles include Research Analyst at the Foundation For Defense of Democracies and various research internships focused on U.S. policy and North Korean social issues. Mathew has demonstrated expertise in conducting research, managing social media outreach, and developing grant proposals throughout multiple organizations, including the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Korean Community Services, and Amnesty International USA. Mathew holds a Master’s Degree in Asian Studies from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s Degree in World Politics from Hamilton College, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Political Science and Government at George Mason University.
