Jack Marin

Jack Marin serves as Co-President and Editor-in-Chief at the Michigan Foreign Policy Council, overseeing a research journal and leading a team of policy writers. Marin has authored research on Canadian carbon pricing and co-authored assessments on HIV/AIDS policy in Eswatini and renewable energy in Costa Rica and Afghanistan. As Regional Editor and Staff Writer for the Michigan Journal of International Affairs, Marin focuses on natural resource politics and economics in the Americas. Experience also includes roles as an Analyst at Valent Asset Management LLC, Research Assistant at the University of Michigan’s Economic Growth Institute, and Market Research Intern at GreenMax Capital Group. An independent YouTube creator, Marin previously developed a channel on history, geography, and politics. Currently pursuing education at the University of Michigan, including the Gerald R.
