Sam Durkin

Sam Durkin is an experienced project manager with a strong background in civil and environmental engineering. Currently a Project Manager at Valenti since September 2022, Sam has previously held project management roles at The Walsh Group and Skanska. During tenure at the Solar Decathlon at UC Berkeley, Sam served as President, leading a 40-member team to a third-place finish in the 2017 competition while raising over $150,000 in support. Sam’s earlier roles include senior consulting and project management positions at the Bay Area Environmentally Aware Consulting Network, internships at Chevron and Sungevity, and a civil engineering internship at A.C. Alexander. Sam earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2017.
