Hanspeter Kaspar

Hanspeter Kaspar has extensive work experience in the finance sector. Hanspeter currently holds the position of CFO (Chief Financial Officer) at Valiant Bank since October 2019. Prior to that, they worked at VP Bank AG as the Head of Group Finance from March 2012 to September 2019. From September 2008 to November 2011, they served as Group CFO & COO at Valartis Group. Before that, they were the Head of Finance & Controlling at Bank Vontobel AG from February 2002 to August 2008. Hanspeter also worked at Credit Suisse First Boston as a Vice President from April 1998 to December 2000. Hanspeter began their career at PwC Switzerland as a Manager from October 1993 to March 1998 and started as an Auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co. from December 1991 to September 1993.

Hanspeter Kaspar has an extensive education history. In 1991, they obtained a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Dr. oec. publ.) from the University of Zurich. Prior to that, from 1986 to 1991, they pursued a degree in Betriebswirtschaft (Business Administration) and obtained an MBA (lic.oec.publ.) from the same institution. In 1996, they completed their studies at EXPERTsuisse, a specialist association for auditing, taxes, and fiduciary for Swiss certified experts, and received the Swiss Certified Public Accountant (eidg. dipl. Wirtschaftsprüfer) designation. In 2018, they attended IMD and completed the Foundations for Business Leadership program. Later that year, they also pursued an Executive MBA (IMD) at the same institution, which was completed in 2019.
