Jerry Moseley Jr.

Jerry Moseley Jr. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Jerry started their career in the United States Marine Corps, working as a Data Communications / Data Chief from 1989 to 2002. After that, they worked as a Sr. Network Analyst at Americold Logistics, LLC. from 2002 to 2005 and then as a Sr. Network Analyst at Witness Systems from 2005 to 2006.

In 2006, Jerry joined ADCom Solutions as a Network Engineer. At ADCom Solutions, they provided technical management for over 3,000 managed cloud sites and performed troubleshooting of various network circuits and devices. Jerry also implemented security mitigation strategies to reduce threats and vulnerabilities. Jerry'srole at ADCom Solutions lasted until 2013.

From 2006 to 2013, Jerry also worked concurrently at The Home Depot as a Sr. Systems Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for the management and support of systems.

In 2013, Jerry joined CGI Federal as a Cyber Security Analyst. Jerry worked in this role until 2015, gaining experience in cybersecurity.

After CGI Federal, Jerry joined NCUA as a Sr. Network Security Engineer from 2015 to 2016. In this position, they managed and supported network infrastructures, including Cisco Call Manager, Palo Alto FWs, and VMware NSX. Jerry also assisted in the transition of the data center to a cloud-based architecture.

Jerry then worked at Veris Group as an Associate Engineer in 2016. In this role, they attended training boot camps, migrated firewalls, and configured network and security devices.

From 2017 to 2019, Jerry worked at Coalfire as a Sr. Cloud Consultant. Jerry provided consultancy services, specializing in cloud technologies.

Most recently, Jerry joined ValidaTek, Inc. in 2019. Jerry has held roles as a Sr. Cloud Cyber Engineer and as part of the Infrastructure and Network Engineering team.

Overall, Jerry Moseley Jr. has a wealth of experience in network engineering, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies, with a focus on implementing and managing complex network infrastructures.

Jerry Moseley Jr. obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer and Information Sciences from DeVry Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1996 to 1999. Jerry pursued further education by earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cloud Computing from the University of Maryland Global Campus, from 2019 to 2021. In addition to their academic qualifications, Jerry has acquired several certifications to enhance their skills and expertise. These certifications include Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) from Palo Alto Networks in November 2016, Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council in December 2013, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in October 2021, Cisco Certified Networking Professional -Enterprise and Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core from Cisco in August 2021, AWS Certified Security – Specialty and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2020 and August 2020 respectively, and CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA in February 2013.
